To bring their phones, and brand, alive Sony Ericsson launched PlayNow. A service that lets you download, listen to and forward music, games, films and applications. To your mobile or to your PC. Or why not to both simultaneously?

PlayNow is a direct competitor to Apple Store, aimed at Sony Ericsson’s users, but open to all.

Wihle Sr Art Director with MediaCatalyst in Amsterdam Per was assigned to function as creative lead and designer for the MC team working on the service.

At the MIDEM conference in Cannes, Sony Ericsson announced deals with 10 major record labels, adding over 5 million new tracks to its extensive catalogue. Sony Ericsson also unveiled the design and URL for PlayNow™ arena and launched PlayNow™ Uncut, (formerly M-Buzz™) a music promotional space for new, unsigned and developing artists.
